PBS tackles the hard and interesting tech problems in fully remote projects, from parsing and analysing terabytes of data to writing highly scalable backends handling billions of daily requests.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to support one of our global clients in building robust APIs and database designs.
The role and responsibilities include
End- to end responsibility from designing to implementing and deploying both the backend and the frontend, using Node.js, TypeScript and React
Write reliable, modular, well-tested, and clean code
Develop and design APIs to be consumed by frontends and third parties
Proactively raise ideas and issues, contributing to designs with feedback and suggestions for improvement
Support other team members through peer review
Help to optimize our development processes and build tools
Ensure progress, issues and ideas are communicated clearly to the right people

About you
You have 4+ years of experience in creating API services and designing databases
You have 3+ years of recent Node.js experience
You have 5+ years of experience with front-end development
You have 2+ years of recent React.js experience
You are passionate about designing great, robust, scalable systems and writing automated tests to keep code quality high
You are a proactive and pragmatic person; you are self-motivated, structured and target-driven
You enjoy communicating and collaborating with your team members
You know how to perform excellent code reviews
You are fluent in English with great written and verbal communication skills
You are excited about working remotely
You live in the EU and can work here
Nice to have
A good understanding of agile product development, especially in an enterprise setting
Some knowledge about data analytics and/or data security at an enterprise level, or a willingness to learn
Involvement with open source projects
You have worked location-independently before
Experience with Amazon Quantum Ledger Database
